Kids In Mind is a place of hope and healing for disadvantaged children and young people who have escaped domestic violence!
Every year, over 15,000 children are forced to flee their homes to escape domestic abuse.
Many arrive at women’s refuges with nothing but the clothes on their backs. These children have witnessed or experienced unimaginable violence and fear — and they need more than safety; they need healing.
At Kids In Mind, we provide a safe space where these children can begin to rebuild their lives.

Through compassionate, trauma-informed care and therapeutic play, we help children find their voices, regain their confidence, and take their first steps toward recovery.
Our mission goes beyond immediate support — we aim to equip every refuge child with healthy coping strategies so they can face the future with strength and hope, avoiding destructive paths such as addiction or self-harm.
With hundreds of therapeutic sessions planned this year, our commitment is unwavering — but the need is vast. Every act of kindness, every donation, and every message of support helps us bring hope and healing to more young lives.
