We are excited to announce that Ronald McDonald House Charities UK is a charity partner for the 2024 Inflatable 5K series.
Sometimes, the best medical care isn’t close to home. Ronald McDonald House Charities UK provides free ‘home away from home’ accommodation for families with children in hospital, so families can be together through difficult times. With 14 Houses across the UK, we have supported over 60,000 families in the UK since 1989.
As an independent charity, we rely on the support and generosity of volunteers, fundraisers and donors – including you!

By registering with #TeamRMHC, you will be asked to raise £100 minimum sponsorship. Once you have completed your booking, our fundraising team will be in touch with some helpful tips and tricks on how to achieve your target!

- How Do I Enter A Group?

Use the form found on the event page to add each member of your team to the cart. The group discount will be automatically applied to each entry when you have four or more runners in your cart.
- Can I Add More People To My Booking?

You will need to make a new booking. Group discounts are applied per booking only.
- Can I Run With A Group Of Friends?

Yes, please make sure you all enter the same start wave.
- Is The Run A Race?

The Inflatable 5k is not a race. This is all about having fun & taking part with friends & family.
- What Should I Wear?

Want to get dressed up for the run? Go for it! We would recommend light running clothing, including a long sleeved top and good running shoes. A rain jacket is also a good idea if we have wet conditions on the day.
- Can I Bring My Friends And Family To Watch?

Yes, but why not encourage them to enter and give it a go?! Please do also share a car if possible as parking may be limited at the venue. If they come in a separate car, parking charges will apply.
- Is There Parking Available?

Parking is charged £5 per car, please have change ready for our parking marshals.
- Can I Skip Sections On The Course?

Yes, if you don't feel like doing a particular obstacle, please check with our marshal on each obstacle before.
- Where Do I Collect My Pre-ordered Merchendise?

Merchandise must be collected on the event day from the merchandise tent.
- Is There An Age Limit?

The inflatable 5k is open for ages 5+. Children aged 15 and under must be accompanied by a participating adult at all times (max 3 children per 1 adult).
- Can I Buy A Ticket On The Day?

Yes. On the day entries are available and are subject to on the day pricing. Please see the event page for more information.
- What Is Included In My Entry?

You will receive an E-Ticket in your email 1-2 weeks prior to the event - this will be exchanged on entry to the event for your stick on bib numbers. At the finish everyone gets a medal, finisher's gift and a drink.
- Will I Receive Any Additional Information Before The Event?

Yes, we will send out a pre-event information pack via e-mail one week before the event. This will include confirmation of your entry, direction maps with parking and venue details, & your start time.
- The Course
-
The course is 2.5k long and each lap will be a repeat of the obstacles.
2.5k - 1 lap
5k - 2 laps
10k - 4 laps
15k - 6 laps - Can I Leave My Bag Somewhere While I Take Part?

Yes, there will be a bag drop at the event centre which costs £3 per bag.
- Are Dogs Allowed At The Event?

Sorry, we do not allow dogs at our events. Guide dogs and assistance dogs are permitted.
- I Am Pregnant, Can I Run?
-
We would advise against it, however, it is your responsibility to contact a medical professional regarding this.
- I Don't Have An E-ticket Can I Still Participate?
-
Yes! If you have purchased an E-Ticket but cannot find it please contact us with your entry ID and we can arrange for a replacement ticket to be sent. We can also provide assistance at the helpdesk on the day.
- We Are A Charity, Do You Offer Charity Discounts?

- Is Water Provided On Course?

Yes, we have a water station approximately 2.5k around the course.
- Can I Wear A Gopro?
-
You are able to wear an action camera yes. It is your own responsibility to keep this safe and undamaged.
- I Can No Longer Attend, Can I Amend My Booking?
-
You can transfer your booking to another person or another inflatable event up-to 10 days prior to the event date, there is a £7.50 fee for this.

By accepting these terms you are agreeing to:- Raise at least £100 in sponsorship for Ronald McDonald House Charities UK per ticket purchased, with the full sponsorship amount to be sent to the Charity no more than 4 weeks post-event.
- Pay at least 50% of the minimum sponsorship (£50 per person) to the Charity prior to the event. Proof of pledged monies will be accepted if completed on an official Ronald McDonald House Charities UK sponsorship form.
- Obtain and pay to Ronald McDonald House Charities UK all sums pledged.
- Not collect in any public place without first obtaining a collector's license from the local authority.
- Not collect on private property (including shops, pubs etc.) without first obtaining the appropriate licenses
- Not conduct any raffle or lottery without first contacting the Charity.
- Contact Ronald McDonald House Charities UK well in advance of putting on any public fundraising event.
- Not reproduce the Ronald McDonald House Charities UK logo, but obtain all fundraising materials directly from the Charity.
- Not do anything to bring the name of the Charity into disrepute.
Registering for an event indicates your consent for Ronald McDonald House Charites UK to contact you with pre-event information and fundraising activities for the event via email, post, phone & SMS.
I also understand the hazards involved in this type of activity, including injury or death, disease, loss or damage to property, and that I am taking part at my own risk. Ronald McDonald House Charities UK accept no liability for any injury resulting from the hazards of taking part in this event, or for any other mishaps to myself or my property.
Ronald McDonald House Charities UK may wish to use photographs and or videos taken at the event for the promotion of future events. If you do not wish to be photographed and for said images to be used by the Charity, please let a member of the team or the event photographer know.
Any participants under the age of 16 must be supervised by a participating adult.
