How to Train for the Inflatable 5K: Fun, Simple & Perfect for Everyone

The Inflatable 5k is the UK’s BIGGEST inflatable obstacle course and the best part? It’s a fun run with zero pressure. No timers, no competition, just giant obstacles, laughter, and a brilliant day out. Training for it is simple, and you only need the basics to feel ready.

1. Build Light Fitness With Short Runs or Walks

Two or three 20-30 minute sessions per week is enough. Jog, walk, or mix both - anything that gets you moving helps.

2. Add Simple Strength Moves

The obstacles involve climbing, bouncing and crawling. A few bodyweight exercises like squats, lunges, planks and push-ups twice a week will boost your confidence.

3. Practice a Bit of Agility

You don’t need to be an athlete. Just add easy movement: side steps, short bursts of jogging, or mini obstacle fun in the park to get used to quick direction changes.

4. Wear Comfortable Kit

Lightweight trainers, breathable clothing and a good warm-up are all you need. No specialist gear required.

5. Keep It Fun - That’s the Whole Point

The Inflatable 5k is designed for everyone and all abilities. Laugh, bounce, slip and slide your way around, the goal is enjoyment, not speed.

Kickstart Your Inflatable 5k Journey

With easy training and no pressure to perform, the Inflatable 5k is the perfect first challenge for anyone wanting a fun, active day out. Get moving, keep it simple, and get ready for the UK’s BIGGEST inflatable adventure.
