Our vision is a world where dying with dignity, compassion and having choices is a fundamental part of a life. Our mission is to ensure all individuals facing the end of their life in Lincolnshire receive dignified, compassionate care when they require it and where they ask for it.
This year we:
- 227 patients in our Inpatient Unit hospice beds in Lincoln
- 140 patients in our Hospice in the Hospital in Grantham
- 3,430 patients in the community
- 3,204 new patient referrals and 68,000 phone calls
- 1,085 clients through our Counselling & Bereavement services
- 926 patients through Occupational Therapy and 729 patients through Physiotherapy
We aim to enable patients to live as fully as they are able for however many days, weeks, or months they have left. We couldn’t do this without our wonderful supporters.

John says: “It’s nice to have somebody here to talk to. They come and have a chat with me, ask me how I am, and if there is anything they can do. When you’re on your own, it’s lonely, and you get a bit fed up at times, but I’m very happy with St Barnabas. They’ve been very good to me”.
