We are also unable to accept any loose items, including keys, wallets, phones, or clothing. All bags will be searched by a member of the UKRE Team for event safety and security.

Event Kit List

Want to get dressed up for the run? Go for it! We would recommend light running clothing, including good running shoes and, if preferred, a long-sleeved top. A rain jacket is also a good idea if we have wet conditions on the day.

Please note that long-sleeved tops are not mandatory and all clothing recommendations are advisory only.

Please do not wear any sharp jewellery or carry sharp objects that could cause injury.

Children

Children between 5 - 15 years old must be accompanied by a paying participating adult (3:1 child:adult ratio) Unfortunately, if this is not met, you will not be able to participate at our event.

Spectators

Friends and family are welcome to come along and watch in the designated spectator areas only, for no extra charge. Spectators cannot roam around the entire course and must keep off the marked out course and obstacles. Children must be under adult supervision at all times.

Drink Station

Water will be stationed midway along the route to keep you hydrated.

Food & Drink

There will be food and drink vendors on-site.

Before You Book

The Inflatable 5k is open to children aged 5-15 years.

All children must take part alongside a participating adult at all times, with a maximum ratio of three children per 1 adult.

Please note that children under the age of 5 are not permitted to take part on the course. If your child is just a few weeks shy of turning 5, unfortunately they will still be unable to take part. This is due to insurance and safety regulations, which we must strictly follow. Unfortunately, if this requirement is not met, entry to the event will be refused.

Absolutely! You're welcome to purchase a child entry separately.

Please note that children must be accompanied by a paying, participating adult. A maximum ratio of 3 children to 1 adult applies. You'll also be reminded of this requirement when purchasing the child ticket.

Not at all! This is a fun run, so there's no pressure to run if you don't want to. You can jog, walk, or even dance your way around the course, it's all about enjoying the experience.

That's completely fine! While we encourage you to give the obstacles a go, you are welcome to bypass any that you don't feel comfortable with. Friendly marshals will be stationed throughout the course to guide you safely and show you alternative routes if needed.

The course is designed to be fun, flexible, and achievable for all fitness levels. You can choose from one of four distances:

2.5k - 1 lap
5k - 2 laps
10k - 4 laps
15k - 6 laps

Each distance is based on the number of laps you complete, so you're in full control of how far you go on the day.

If you're pregnant and would like to participate, we strongly recommend seeking medical advice before taking part. Participation is at your own risk, and you should only participate if you have been advised that it is safe for you to do so.

On the day of the event, you'll need to visit the Help Desk to complete an additional waiver. This confirms that you have sought medical advice, are happy to participate, and accept full responsibility for taking part.

Some of our events feature additional obstacles or challenges that are not included as part of the main event.

For example, The Leap of Faith may be available at selected events. Please note that additional charges apply to take part.

Check your event-specific page for details on which additional obstacles are available and any associated costs.

Most of the information you'll need will be available on your event-specific webpage. In the week leading up to the event, you'll also receive your pre-event communications, which will include your E-ticket.

Please make sure you have your E-ticket ready to scan on the morning of the event. You can either print it, take a screenshot, or have it ready to display on your phone.

Once you cross the finish line, it's time to celebrate! Every participant, regardless of distance, will receive a finisher's medal, a bunch of finisher's goodies, and a refreshing drink to help you refuel.

This event is open to everyone with no weight restrictions. However, if you have any concerns about taking part, we kindly recommend seeking medical advice beforehand for your own reassurance and comfort. Please also note that participation is at your own risk.

The Leap of Faith is not included as part of the main obstacle event. It is an additional obstacle that may be available on the day for an extra charge.

The Leap of Faith may not be available at every event, as its operation is dependent on weather conditions. We also reserve the right to suspend or cease operation of this activity at any time should weather conditions deteriorate or be deemed unsafe during the event.

Weight limit: We recommend that you must be less than 20 stone (127kg)

Age limit:
Jump only 8 years or older.
Slide only 5 years or older.

Please note that on-the-day entries are subject to availability.

Spectators, Family & Accessibity

Yes! Spectators are very welcome to come along and watch the event for free. They will be able to watch from the designated spectator areas, although views of the course may be limited from these areas.

They can also enjoy the event village and soak up the atmosphere.

Please note that if spectators are arriving separately, parking fees may apply.

This can depend on the specific event location, but spectators are always welcome. To help keep little ones entertained, you're welcome to bring items such as a football, games, colouring books, or even a picnic, as long as it's enjoyed within the event village.

Please note that spectators are only permitted within designated spectator viewing areas for safety reasons.

We offer a carer's entry for £15, which is available for any distance.

Carer entries can be purchased on the day of the event at the Help Desk. We'll ask you to provide valid ID confirming your carer status, and you'll also need to complete and sign a waiver form.

There's no need to worry about carer entries selling out, we always make sure we have plenty available on the day.

All other participant entries must be purchased directly through our website.

As much as we love furry friends, dogs are not permitted on the course or within the event village. For the safety and comfort of all participants, please leave your four-legged companions at home, anyone bringing a dog may be asked to leave the event area.

Getting To The Event & Event-Day

For the majority of our events, car parking is available for £5.

Parking arrangements can vary between events, so please check the event-specific website page (EVENT INFO tab) for full parking information and instructions before attending.

Yes, we operate a bag drop service for £3 per bag. This is clearly outlined on the website and in your pre-event communications. Your belongings will be safely looked after by a member of our team.

Please bring exact cash or have your card payment ready.

If you're travelling light or don't have a bag, we also offer a free bag drop with a tote bag for £5, which you can take home as a fun keepsake and a bit of memorabilia from the day.

There is no water provided at the start, so please ensure you arrive well-hydrated, especially on warmer days.

You'll receive water halfway through the course, as well as a drink at the finish line. There will also be food vendors on site if you'd like to grab something before or after your run.

We recommend wearing good running shoes or trainers for the course. Please do not wear flip-flops, sandals, Crocs, or any footwear that may easily come off during participation, as this is for your comfort and safety.

How long it takes to complete the course will depend on your fitness level, experience, and whether you've been training.

As a general guide, our average completion times are:

2.5K: Approximately 20 minutes
5K: Approximately 45 minutes
10K: Approximately 1 hour 15 minutes
15K: Approximately 1 hour 45 minutes

Please note: These are average completion times only. Your actual time may be shorter or longer depending on your pace and how you choose to tackle the course. Remember, there's no pressure to run, you can walk, jog or run at your own pace and enjoy the experience!

The course is 2.5k per lap, with each lap taking you through the same set of obstacles.

The distance you choose determines how many laps you complete:

2.5K: 1 lap
5K: 2 laps
10K: 4 laps
15K: 6 laps

This means that if you choose a longer distance, you'll complete the course and obstacles multiple times.

There's no set time limit for completing the course. You can run, jog or walk at your own pace and enjoy the experience!

Please note that the latest start time for 10k and 15k participants is 12:00pm.

If you're booked into the last wave of the day, please make sure you arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled start time so you have enough time to check in and get ready to take part.

You can upgrade to a longer distance if you decide you'd like to take on more laps on the day.

We recommend waiting until the day of the event to upgrade, so you can decide how you're feeling and whether you'd like to do more.

Simply head to the Help Desk when you arrive, and our team will be happy to assist you. Any additional charges will be confirmed at the time of upgrading.

You can choose to complete a shorter distance if you decide you don't want to do as many laps.

We recommend making this decision on the day of the event, so you can see how you're feeling and choose the distance that's right for you.

Simply let our team know at the Help Desk when you arrive, and they'll be happy to assist you.

Yes! We have a full range of merchandise available to purchase on the day, with both cash and card payments accepted.

We recommend checking out our online shop before the event to make sure we have the size or item you're looking for.
