As you run, you'll enjoy sweeping panoramas across Chichester Harbour, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with long-reaching vistas towards Bosham Hoe, Itchenor, East Head, and the rolling South Downs beyond.
The course is designed to immerse you in the landscape: quiet trails, coastal paths, and wildlife-rich scenery that will leave you breathless - in the best way! At low tide, runners also get the unique chance to cross a short stretch of foreshore, making this an experience like no other.
Flat and friendly, the route is perfect for an early-season challenge, whether you're chasing a PB, building confidence, or simply looking to enjoy the atmosphere of a great running event. With two distances to choose from, we welcome runners of all levels and abilities to join the adventure. As you cross the finish line, you will receieve well-earned medal, a refreshing drink, and exciting finisher's goodies.

Things to note
- You will collect your running bib number on arrival at the event. Please bring your QR code with you on the day and head to 'Registration' for collection.
- Save The Event Phone Number: 02033 717 156.
- Bib numbers should be displayed clearly on the front of you.
- We are plastic free, please bring a reusable cup / bottle for use at the water stations.
- There will be First Aid support located at the on-course aid stations and event centre.
Spectators
Spectators are always welcome at the Chichester Harbour Trail Run. We love that spectators further add to the fantastic atmosphere at the event.

Course Signage
The race will be clearly signed using PINK arrows and PINK tape.
We will also mark hazards and road junctions with 'Caution' signs. Please take care at these points.
Event Day Timings
7:30 am* - Venue Opens
The car park opens to allow runners to prepare themselves for the race and grab a coffee.
9:15 AM* - 21km Distance Race Start!
The race kicks off as the Half Marathon distance runners cross the start line.
9:20 AM* - 21km Canicross Distance Race Start!
The race kicks off as the Half Marathon distance canicross runners cross the start line.
9:30 AM* - 16km Distance Race Start!
The race kicks off as the Medium distance runners cross the start line.
9:35 AM* - 16km Canicross Distance Race Start!
The race kicks off as the Medium distance canicross runners cross the start line.
1:30 pm* - The Race Finishes / Cut-off Time
Your adventure finishes, you will cross the finish line and collect your bag full of goodies.
2:00 pm* - The Event Centre Closes
The venue closes.
