The Witterings Beach Run returns, offering runners a unique coastal running experience with panoramic views of Selsey Bill, the Isle of Wight, Chichester Harbour, the Solent, and the South Downs.
Set along the unspoilt sands of West Witterings Beach, a Blue Flag-awarded coastline, this route is a seaside runner's dream. At low tide, the expansive sandy flats provide an ideal running surface, while on-course water stations ensure you stay refreshed as you take in the stunning scenery.
With three distances available, 15k, 10k or 5k this event welcomes runners of all abilities - whether you're chasing a personal best, gaining confidence on beach and trail running, or simply enjoying a scenic seaside run. As you cross the finish line, you'll be rewarded with a well-earned medal, a refreshing drink, and exciting finisher goodies.

Kit list
Things to note
- You will collect your running bib number on arrival at the event. Please bring your QR code with you on the day and head to 'Registration' for collection.
- Save The Event Phone Number: 02033 717 156.
- Bib numbers should be displayed clearly on the front of you.
- We are plastic free, please bring a reusable cup / bottle for use at the water stations.
- There will be First Aid support located at the on-course aid stations and event centre.
- One dog, per one runner.
Spectators
Spectators are always welcome at the Witterings Beach Run. We love that spectators further add to the fantastic atmosphere at the event.

Course Signage
The race will be clearly signed using PINK arrows and PINK tape.
We will also mark hazards and road junctions with 'Caution' signs. Please take care at these points.

7:30 am* - Venue Opens
The car park opens to allow runners to prepare themselves for the race and grab a coffee.
8:00 AM* - 15.3km Distance Race Start!
The race kicks off as the Long distance runners cross the start line.
8:05 AM* - 15.3km Canicross Distance Race Start!
The race kicks off as the Long distance canicross runners cross the start line.
8:15 AM* - 10.0km Distance Race Start!
The race kicks off as the Medium distance runners cross the start line.
8:20 AM* - 10.0km Canicross Distance Race Start!

8:30 AM* - 5.0km Distance Race Start!
The race kicks off as the Short distance runners cross the start line.
8:35 AM* - 5.0km Canicross Distance Race Start!
