You will set off from the seaside town of Swanage, run epic trails with stunning coastal and castle vistas. The run finishes at the historic ruins of Corfe Castle where you will board a private steam train. Sit back, relax, soak up the views, and reflect on the experience as you return to your car via the Swanage railway.
Both routes are loaded with awe-inspiring views of the Jurassic Coast. including Old Harry Rocks, Studland, and Corfe Castle. The chalk and sandy trails are hard packed and lend themselves to an enjoyable trail running experience.
This amazing Jurassic Coast Trail run is an experience you will remember for years.
At the finish line you will receive a well-deserved high-quality metal medal, finisher’s gift and refreshing drink!

Private Steam Train back to the start from the finish. Train Tickets will be £8 per person and can be purchased with your booking. Spectators are welcome and can purchase train tickets from our shop online here or on the day.

Spectators
Spectators are always welcome at the Jurassic Express Trail Run (Swanage). We love that spectators further add to the fantastic atmosphere at the event.
Course Signage
The race will be clearly signed using PINK arrows and PINK tape.
We will also mark hazards and road junctions with 'Caution' signs. Please take care at these points.
Event Day Timings
7:30am - Venue Opens
The car park opens to allow runners to prepare themselves for the race and grab a coffee.
9:15AM - 21km Distance Race Start!
The race kicks off as the Half Marathon distance runners cross the start line.
9:25AM - 17km Distance Race Start!
The race kicks off as the Medium distance runners cross the start line.
9:35AM - 11km Distance Race Start!
The race kicks off as the Short distance runners cross the start line.
1:30pm - The Race Finishes / Cut-off Time
Your adventure finishes, you will cross the finish line and collect your bag full of goodies.
PLEASE NOTE: The last train will leave at 1:45pm
2:00pm - The Event Centre Closes
The venue closes.
